For this project, it was crucial to capture that modern vibe and cutting-edge tech to attract startups, while also giving off a sense of security and seriousness for investors.
As I got more into the project and heard the stakeholder's ideas about the dynamic between startups and investors, a few key words she mentioned called my attention:
"connecting," "selling them self," "standing out," "liking," and "building relationships." These words got me thinking about social media, where interactions go beyond just saying hi and having a chat – there's buying, events, fostering animals, etc. And the main challenge of the project was to achive a deal between parties.
But which one should I get inspiration from? How does an investor pick a startup to trust with their product? And by the other hand, startups choose projects based on different factors (could be the topic, the technology to use, the budget, etc). So, for a solid connection to happen, there needs to be a "match" between the parties. That's when it got it:
Although they're quite distinct, these platforms have something interesting in common. Tinder logic is about mutual interest – those profile details that catch your eye and spark conversations. On the flip side, LinkedIn is all about showing off your professional side, with your work history, job openings, and the variety of options available (both in terms of job seekers and job offers).
